NEW VIRTUAL CHALLENGE SERIES PRESENTED BY TOYOTA TO ACCOMPANY 2021 USATF RUNNING CIRCUIT SEASON

INDIANAPOLIS -- While elite athletes vie for national championships during the 2021 USATF Running Circuit (USARC) season, fans at home can join the action from afar with the new Virtual Challenge Series presented by Toyota, USA Track & Field (USATF) announced today.
 
The virtual challenges will run for two weeks, beginning 2 Wednesdays before the USATF Championship and ending the Wednesday following each Championship.
 
USATF Members receive discounted registration for virtual challenges, and all participants will be mailed a race package with USATF and sponsor gift items, as well as a custom finisher water bottle.
 
Registration for all five virtual challenges - ranging from 5 km to half marathon - is now open. Athletes may register via the AthleticAPP on your smartphone or tablet, or online at athletic.net.
 

A full USARC competition schedule will be released at a later date.
 
Virtual challenge participants are encouraged to share photos and video on social media by using the hashtag #USATFToyotaVC and tagging @usatf on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Tik Tok.
